Reluctant main character of this blog. I hail from Christchurch, New Zealand, but am currently living in Melbourne, Australia.

I love art, history and drama; I have difficulty putting up with intense, angsty people. I have a professional background in advertising & marketing but am currently an at-home-mum & loving every moment of it. I make jewellery in my spare time & want to get into glass art.

This blog has risen from the ashes of an earlier one at another site. It's very rare for me to write in any great depth about my life...I just like having a blog.

Mr Grumpy
My beloved husband. To others he often comes across as an anti-social old workaholic but I know he has a secret soft side. He's really very sweet and loving; he just doesn't like to let on about it.

Little Miss
Or LM for short. My beautiful daughter. A handful at times but I love her to bits - frustrating idiosyncrasies and all.

Miss Kitty
My cat (not her real name). Stupid to the extreme but very cuddly and loyal (and significantly better looking than this picture!).
