Hello hello hello!
It's been utterly aaaages since I updated. Sorry about that. I will try harder. Promise.
So a quick update on life this side of the internet.....
Wee Man: 10 months old & crawling, has 6 teeth, & is currently beginning to try to stand. Favourite games include peek a boo (under the blanket, towels, or Mummy's skirt), putting everything in his mouth & learning how to open the gate at the top of the stairs. Favourite foods: rice crackers & anything in his sippy cup. Hates: boiled egg. Most recent thing learnt: how to throw objects (currently a ball but no doubt will soon include food).
Little Miss: no longer little. Starts high school next year. A constant reminder of how old I am.
Mr Grumpy: still grumpy.
Miss Kitty (not her real name): officially geriatric at age 11 1/2. Now has to have blood tests every 6 months to keep an eye out for kidney & bladder problems after I took her in to be tested following a spate of indoor toilet episodes (in a suitcase, against the front door & on top of some work papers).
The Girls: new arrivals. Three Pekin bantams (named Cleo, Esme & Rosalind...yes, these are their real names) who are now 16 weeks old. I got them to keep the insect population down but they are also a major part of operation Grow Our Own Omelette. Yet to reach point of lay & currently just run round eating my plants & pooing on my shoes.
The house: still unfinished. It's only been 6 months since we moved in. Grrrrr.
My computer: about to be upgraded to shiny new 24" IMac. Because my old computer seems to be a permanent shade of blue {screen of death}. I hate you, Bill Gates.
Me: still here. Still old. Still boring.
I think that sums it up quite nicely. See - you didn't miss anything much.

Because I (foolishly) switched to new Blogger (well, they said they were out of Beta & one assumes that means it's all working properly but apparently I was foolish to think so)...I now no longer have a working archive page that automatically updates it's index. The links to each individual post also don't work at the moment.
Until Blogger sorts this out, you'll have to manually click March or April to get to the appropriate archive page.
